Abstract: يدرس البحث التماسك النصي في رسالة الحجاب للجاحظ ، ويتخذ الإحالة نموذجا للدراسة ، ويعرج على أدب الحُجّاب من حيث أخبارهم وشروط الحاجب وطبيعة ذلك الأدب، و يعدّ الجاحظ من أقدم من كتب رسالة خاصة في ذلك الأدب، ويناقش البحث أنماط الإحالة ودورها في التماسك النصي في رسالة الجاحظ ، ليصل إلى أن للإحالة دورا محوريا في تماسك الرسالة الأدبية مع تعدد نقولاتها وأجناس نثرها وشعرها.

Abstract
The research studies the textual cohesion in Al-Jahiz’s Treatise on the Hijab, and takes r Keywords: Al-Jahiz, the veil, referral, towards a texteferral as a model for the study. It examines the literature of the Hijab in terms of their news, the terms of the Hijab, and the nature of that literature. Al-Jahiz is considered one of the oldest to write a special treatise on that literature. The research discusses patterns of referral and their role in textual cohesion in a treatise. Al-Jahiz concluded that referral has a pivotal role in the cohesion of the literary message with its multiple
quotes and genres of prose and poetry.
